Community is a word that invites people to come together.
Community UMC invites people to become more than they could alone.
God has set forth in this body a picture of Christ’s impact upon humanity.
Come is a word of invitation, which is the main purpose of Community’s existence.
Community UMC is here to invite others into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Isolation is a very unhealthy place for people, and alienation is even worse.
Yet, as people we engage in both of these.
The invitation to come opens the door for a transformation of your life.
Coming to Christ is a radical event. It is a world changing event.
Not only is your world changed but in your change, a change comes to the world.
Unified (but not the same) is the calling of God.
Division has kept many individuals from sharing the fullness of what God is doing.
If we would ever come together in unity there would be no stopping the local church.
We accomplish miracles when we are together as a community of believers.
Community, by its very name, is a church that invites the Kingdom of God to be known.
Community changes the world, and God has invited you to be a part of that change.
God has created us as His expression, and we express Him fully in community.
God has created us for community, and that is best known in a relationship with Him.
As we engage in relationship with God, together we are in community with each other.
